Vynance is a personal finance record-keeping app for Android phones. You enter your income and expenses; the app organises them into accounts, categories and budgets, and shows you where your money actually goes.
It is a private ledger, not a banking app. Vynance does not connect to any bank, does not read your statements and cannot move money. Every figure it shows is calculated from entries you typed yourself.
Log expenses, income and transfers across multiple accounts — bank, cash, wallet, credit card or investment — each in its own currency.
Set monthly limits per category and get a local notification as you approach them.
Category breakdowns, spending trends, cash-flow and savings charts, and plain-language summaries of what changed month to month.
Track money lent and borrowed per person, record part-payments, and see what is outstanding and what is overdue.
Record the value of holdings and retirement plans over time from your provider's statements, and see contributions against growth.
Attach a receipt photo, add a transaction by speaking it, or check your balance from a home-screen widget.
Vynance stores every transaction, balance and receipt in a private database on your phone. There is no Vynance server. We do not receive, store, sell or analyse your financial records, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind.
The only copy that ever leaves your phone is a backup you choose to create.
Vynance uses two Google services, and only these two:
The app requests the drive.appdata scope only. That is Drive's hidden, application-specific folder: Vynance cannot see, read, list or modify any other file in your Drive, and the developer has no access to the backup at all. It exists so that replacing or resetting your phone does not cost you your records.
You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
