What it does

A private ledger, not a banking app

You enter your income and expenses; the app organises them into accounts, categories and budgets, and shows you where your money actually goes. Vynance does not connect to any bank, does not read your statements and cannot move money. Every figure it shows is calculated from entries you typed yourself.

Transactions & accounts

Log expenses, income and transfers across bank, cash, wallet, credit-card and investment accounts — each in its own currency, each with its own running balance. The entries that repeat every month can be set up once and left alone.

Budgets & alerts

Set monthly limits per category and get a local notification as you approach one — generated on your phone, sent by nothing and to no one.

Reports & insights

Category breakdowns, spending trends, cash-flow and savings charts, and plain-language summaries of what changed month to month.

Debts & repayments

Track money lent and borrowed per person, record part-payments, and see what is outstanding and what is overdue.

Investments & pensions

Record the value of holdings and retirement plans over time from your provider’s statements, and see contributions against growth.

Receipts, voice entry, widgets and export

Attach a receipt photo to any transaction, add an entry by speaking it, check your balance straight from your home screen, and take the whole ledger with you as a spreadsheet or a printable report whenever you want it elsewhere.

Privacy

Your data stays on your device

Vynance keeps every transaction, balance and receipt in a private space on your phone that no other app can open. There is no Vynance server. We do not receive, store, sell or study your financial records, and the app carries no advertising or tracking of any kind.

The only copy that ever leaves your phone is a backup you choose to create.

Why Vynance asks for a Google account

  • Signing in with Google tells the app whose backup is whose, and lets it notice when someone else signs in on a shared phone, so one person’s records are never shown to another.
  • Google Drive holds your backup — a copy of your records and receipt photos — inside your own Google account.

The backup goes into a private corner of your Drive that only Vynance can use. It cannot see, open or change anything else in your Drive, and we have no access to the backup at all. It is there so that replacing or resetting your phone does not cost you your records. You can take that access away at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
