What Rizq adds

Your money. Your obligations. One ledger.

Rizq is built to answer five questions: what money you have, what part of it is actually yours, what part carries an Islamic obligation, where it came from and where it went. Islamic finance sits in the core of the ledger rather than in a calculator bolted onto the side.

A zakat engine, not a calculator

Mark which accounts and assets are zakatable, record gold and silver by weight, add money owed to you and business stock, then set your nisab basis and madhhab — Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki or Hanbali. Rizq weighs your wealth against the threshold across the hawl and keeps each assessment exactly as it was made, so last year’s figure never quietly changes when a price does.

Riba tracked, separated, purified

Flag an account as interest-bearing and the interest it credits is marked as riba rather than counted as income — on one-off entries and on repeating ones alike, so a standing monthly credit cannot slip into your income totals unnoticed. The purification view totals what has built up and keeps a record of what you have already given away.

Zakat al-Fitr

Per household head, by your chosen staple and its sa’ weight, with the madhhab position named beside the figure — and a reminder in the last third of Ramadan, because the timing is the point.

Sadaqah & the eight asnaf

Log charity as it happens and record which of the eight categories named in Surah At-Tawbah 9:60 each zakat payment went to. One payment, one category — nothing is apportioned on your behalf.

The Hijri calendar, everywhere

Switch from the Gregorian calendar to the Hijri one and your months, reports and totals follow, shifted by a day either way if your local sighting differs. Ramadan budgets, a Hajj or Umrah goal set for a Hijri year, and ready-made Qurbani and Eid budgets all follow the same calendar.

Spending screening that states, never scores

Mark a category Clear, Review or Avoid and Rizq summarises your spending against your own markings. Nothing is classified for you, there is no halal score, and no line of it grades your life.

Islamic financing & debt

Record a debt as qard hasan, murabaha or ijara — the agreed total and what is left to pay. The app never asks you for an interest rate, because these agreements have none. Takaful contributions are recorded like any other regular payment.

A statement you can hand over

Save a zakat statement for one assessment or a whole year — a printable page that repeats the figures exactly as they were when you made them, never worked out afresh.

Rizq states the facts. It does not issue a fatwa.

Every Islamic figure shows the rule that produced it and the inputs you gave, and the wording stays descriptive throughout — “review” and “avoid”, never a ruling. Madhhabs differ, and Rizq names which position it applied rather than pretending there is only one. For a binding opinion on your own situation, ask a qualified scholar — Rizq keeps the records that make that conversation short.

And everything else

A complete household ledger underneath

The Islamic features sit on top of a full personal-finance app, not a stripped-down one. Everything you would expect from an everyday tracker is here.

Transactions, accounts & budgets

Expenses, income and transfers across bank, cash, wallet, credit-card and investment accounts, each in its own currency; budgets that warn you before you overspend; and the payments that repeat set up once and left alone.

Reports, debts, investments & goals

Category breakdowns, trends, cash-flow and savings charts; money lent and borrowed per person; holdings, pensions and savings goals recorded from your provider’s statements.

Receipts, voice entry, widgets and export

Attach a receipt photo, add an entry by speaking it, check your balance straight from your home screen, and take the whole ledger with you as a spreadsheet or a printable report whenever you want it elsewhere.

Which app

Rizq or Vynance?

Vynci Softworks publishes two finance apps. Vynance is a straightforward expense tracker. Rizq is for people who want zakat, riba and the Hijri calendar handled as part of their record-keeping rather than worked out on the side.

Our stance

What Rizq will not do

Some things are left out on purpose. These are decisions, not gaps.

01

No halal score

No single number summarising your spending against a religious standard. That would be the app grading a life.

02

No inheritance calculator

Faraid is a legal instrument acted on at the worst possible moment. It needs a scholar, not a budgeting app.

03

No guessed prices

Gold and silver rates are the ones you enter. The app looks up no prices of its own and invents no figure you did not give it.

04

No ruling by default

No category arrives pre-classified as permitted or not. Your markings, your madhhab, your call.

Privacy

Your records — financial and religious — stay on your device

Rizq keeps every transaction, balance, receipt, zakat assessment, charity record and madhhab setting in a private space on your phone that no other app can open. There is no Rizq server. We do not receive, store, sell or study any of it, and the app carries no advertising or tracking of any kind.

Your religious observance is not data we collect. It never leaves the device except inside a backup you choose to create, in your own Google Drive app folder that we cannot browse.

A backup goes into a private corner of your own Google Drive that only Rizq can use. It cannot see, open or change anything else in your Drive. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which madhhab does the zakat engine follow?

Whichever you choose. You can set it to the Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki or Hanbali position, and the app names the rule behind whichever figure you are looking at. Shia khums is not covered.

Where do the gold and silver prices come from?

From you. Rizq looks up no prices of its own, because an obligation this important should not rest on a rate the app guessed. You enter the rate you are using, and the assessment keeps it beside the figure so you can see later what it was based on.

Is Rizq issuing religious rulings?

No. Rizq states financial facts, shows its method and preserves your inputs. Anything that would amount to a ruling — classifying your spending for you, scoring it, or calculating an inheritance share — is deliberately not built. Consult a qualified scholar for a binding opinion.

Can I bring in records I already keep elsewhere?

Yes. Rizq can take in a spreadsheet of your existing transactions, and hand one back the same way, so nothing you enter is trapped in the app.

Does Rizq need an internet connection?

Not for anything that matters. Hijri dates are worked out on your phone, and you can shift them a day either way to match your local sighting. Nothing about your dates, your wealth or your observance is ever asked of a server.

What does it cost?

Rizq is free to install. Zakat on wealth, Zakat al-Fitr, riba tracking, sadaqah and asnaf records, the screening summary, the Islamic debt types and the seasonal budgets and goals are all free. A paid subscription raises the limits on accounts and budgets and opens the fuller reports and exports, including the zakat statement. No ads, whether you pay or not.
